Book reading

This morning Team 3 went to the hall and we were reading some books with some other teachers. My favourite book was read by Mr J and it was called Green Eggs and Ham. I liked it because it was really funny and interesting. My favourite part was Mr J saying the words really funny and the movie was one of my favourites. Thank you for the books that you read to us and thank you for reading one of my favourite books.

My year

My year has been one of my favourite years. I have had so much fun in my class because I love to learn and I love to create. I really love to make some things with my group called the screen minions. My group has made some designs and we have got an awesome art teacher and his name is call Mr Vogt. He has got a lot of people that helps him with their work. My class has done some science projects for a long time to learn some things that we do not know. I really like the dance that we are doing for Prize giving because my awesome teacher has put a lot of effort to make this dance amazing.  My family Will be there to support me and my class so that is why I really love my class and also my favourite teacher.

Screen minions

On day my group got to pant somethink awesome and my group is called the screen minions an I had so much fun hanging out with some kids thank you and enjoy.

One day there was a really powerful lion.  He went off to find some tasty food for him to eat. He saw a really cute rabbit with fluffy fur. The lion was asking the little rabbit if he want’s to play with the lion and the rabbit said oh yes please thank you for inviting me to come and play with you.  I can't wait, come on let's go said the lion. But before we go can we please go to find some food in the forest.  OK let's go before we go to play.  So they did.  It is really scarey in the forest so can we just play? OK said the lion.

Milkshakes

Last Friday in room 15 we made some milkshakes.  When we made the milkshakes we had so much fun and even we got to drink it after we finished making the milkshakes. My favourite part of making the milkshakes was drinking it. We had so much fun making the milkshakes. We used an electric blender, peaches, plastic spoon, cups and vanilla ice cream.

Maths week 7

Making mousse

WALT:  We are learning about the changes in matter.  

What ingredients did we need to make mousse?

Electric mixer measuring jug cups spoons milk. 

What happened when we added the ingredients?

When we put the powder in it sat on top of the milk. We had to stir it really fast with an electric mixer to dissolve it. When we were stirring the milk and powder we saw bubbles rise up the top. The bubbles were air bubbles. After we stirred it for a long time the mixer started to turn into a solid.

What did we learn?

We learnt about dissolving something into a different kind of solid.  It dissolved into a solid and into a liquid and then it changed back into a solid.  We can not change it back into a powder solid or a liquid. 

Maths week 6

Chrome book

Yesterday Room 15 went to the Pavilion and we had to be in groups of three to work out some different things. When were learning some things about different dinosaurs     and when we finished we played different types of games and then it was time to go. Next year I will love to have my chromebook.  I can't wait until I'm a Year 4 next year!

Athletics day

On Friday at school we did athletics. We did lots of different stations and then it was the time to have a race battle with our class.  There was one girl and she came first in all the races and she never gave up. When it was time to see the kids vs teachers my friends uncle came and he signed up and after lunch the kids vs teachers started and the whole school made some rows to watch the races. After the race finished they went in a line and they were walking like a champion because champions never give up.

Manaiakalani

Yesterday the whole school went to the manaiakalani to See all of the awesome movies.  We get to see and when we got there all the presenters went on stage and presented their class. When we finish watching the other people's movies it was  ower movie to come on the big stage and when I watched it and it looked so amazing. After those amazing movies that we watch we went on the bus back to school I was so awesome I had so much fun.

The spooky scientist

Once there was a scientist spy and he had an machine that can destroy the whole universe. One day he put his machine on the top of the Sky Tower and he destroyed the whole universe because he wanted to be the king of the whole world. One day a hero came to rescue the world and he broke the experiment and the world was safe and the hero went and then they carried on with their day. The scientist spy was different and he fixed his own problem by saying sorry and he went back to being a good man.

Once there was an haunted house with bats inside and when you go inside the zombies come out of the haunted house. Once there was a creepy lady going inside and they had a special Halloween party and it was awesome and creepy I had lots of fun. I felt really scared but I still had fun. I was freaky and frighten to but I still had so much fun.

Halloween

Today is Hallowe'en and i am dressing up as a witch. When I go tricker treating I am going to be safe and have so much fun. I am going trick treating with my friend Patience and her cousin Cognac and also Patiences Dad. I hope I get lots of lollies when I go trick treating. I love going trick treating because it makes me happy and makes me have an awesome day of my life.
