Activity 1: St Joseph’s Cathedral

At the turn of the century, there was a great deal of construction happening in New Zealand. Many of the new British settlers wanted to build homes and community meeting places, such as churches. One of the largest buildings to be constructed during this period was St Joseph’s Cathedral in Dunedin.

As i look at the pitcheri saw one big big building and then i thought to my must be a really big and awesome building but it does look like one really BIG BIG castel to me from a place that i have already seen and i really really think it was in the city of auckland. but that is one massive castel and big to that i have now it right now if i lived in there i would alway's wish to have my own room.

When i look at this style that the people have made i just think wow what a style they have made to keep it rolling this style is one amazing awesome great perfect style it looks like a really really real artty technique that these people have made this is one awesome technique i love this painting that these poeple have made it looks realistic painting it looks like a persons style that someone that will want to wear but mostly this is a cool and good style.

In the 1800s, most families were pretty big. In fact, many parents had an average of seven to nine children.  Imagine that you were a child in the 1800s and you had nine siblings.

I would not like to live with a large family because it would be to hard to travel to different places especially if we have a small car. I would also not like to live with such a large family because the house that we'll be living in might be a little to small & would not be enough room for such a large family. I would not like to live with a really large family because everyone would be so annoying & would keep on disturbing others. So this is why I would not want to live with such a large family because they might not listen to your parents as well as to make trouble with others. So here it is these are the reasons why I would not like to live with a large family.

getting to do these cool things are awesome waka ama is one of them netball and ruby could be the best but waka ama is the greatest sport out of all history waka ama is a awesome and really cool sport

 In the morning a bright light came into my eyes and when I woke up in the morning i saw something beautiful outside and when i saw it, it looked like an airplane that just got  busted down at night because something bad happened it had lots and lots of big  grass everywhere on the ship and when I went inside to see if it works I

tried it but it didn’t work it couldn't fly like the other airplanes but when I went back as quick as   I can in the garden I found something big and massive in the  garden to make the airplane work and then I ran like a bird flying as fast as they could to go somewhere so I went  back to the airplane and I tried to fix it so  I can fly it in the air when

I got it fix I flew it around and around until  I saw some people stuck on an island calling for help and when I saw them calling for help I busted down their as fast as I could and then I took them back home as fast as I could then they went to the hospital because one of them got stuck on a big massive rock on the island that they were on if

you went in there it will look like a halloween place with scary dolls l nlike CHUCKY and ANNABELLE and even SKELETONS also BIG FAT PUMPKIN faces that are cutted up. I started getting scared and horrified and then I got out of the airplane and I found some people and they helped me clean  the airplane  once it got clean i saw a notice a lot of them lying are and it said that someone lost their airplane and it looked exactly like the airplane that i just cleaned up and then i saw the airplane pitcher and  I took it back to where it belongs. The person who lost their airplane was so sad and misseed it for ever  she tooked  

what's the time Mr wolf

In the morning today at school the Pav did a Mihi and a Wiata after the Mihi and the Wiata Mr Moran and Mrs Moala told us that we we're going To do something fun and cool. They told us that we were going to play what’s the time Mr wolf and we had to be really sneaky and quiet so the Other class don’t see us playing around outside playing whats the time Mr wolf.

In the morning when it was time for school time the whole of the room 11 and 12 walked  outside nicely to do something fun for our. Once we got outside we did some running and while, we were running we heard some cheering. For the team that was running and they kept on cheering until they got so warm

Once it was time for the last 8 boys and last 8 girls to have, their race and when it was time for there race to start they got ready and then after that big, race it was time for the  boys to run. When it was time, for the boys to run they got ready to battle each other and to see

In the final race of the girls and boys they Did Not run or sprint instead they did a crab race and Mr Moran joined in so he could see who wins in the crab race and then Francis started the race of for them.

THE POWER OF THREE POKEMON

                                                                 CHAPTER 1
                                                       
On day there was a man running through an abandoned factory,his energy blasts. A flock of Golbat
were on his long tail. The man ducked and weaved at the same time . He darted left. He zoomed right.
But the Golbat will never ever give up. A lightning bolt seared through the air. Direct hit!The man screamed so loud the it was the loudest one of all and it went through the air. And it was so dark when he eyes open up a women with purple hair loomed over him. She wore a team Galactic jumpsuit and an evil smile.

The Immersion Assembly.

Once we came back to school on one beautiful sunny day we went to the hall with our class when’ we got there, we got to see ,what the other class were going to do about musical madness.

First team 1 came up on the stage and the started played with some’ card while they were playing they listened to some cool music some’ sad music and some loud music after they finished their show they’ told us what they were going to do and then the next team came up to show us what they were going.Finally it was time for team 2 to show’ us what they were doing for musical madness.

One of the teachers from team’ 2 sang a wonderful song, and it was in the jungle song and then everyone came to join her song’ and they made a pretty cool song for everyone to hear. When she sang it was a beautiful song for musical madness.

Next it was now time for team 3 to show what they are going to be doing for musical madness. They did a video about music that they sang and it was about how’ they could have a music battle and they sang really cool songs and’ songs that make sense for them to battle’ each other and their movie was a really awesome movie.

Next it was time for TEAM 4 to show what their movie is about all of team 4 teachers sang lots' of and while they were singing some of them driven the car and they all went in’ a car to work and when they got there Mr j saw dancing and singing and he’ did the same to and he tried to be cool.

And finally’ it was time for team 5 and they came on the stage and they had a movie night like a family. They watched lion king and they at a lot’ of popcorn they listened to different kind of songs to put on to the lion’ king movie. They were listening to some sad sad songs some cools songs and some fun songs.  

OMG TECH

Today some of the kids from our class went to go and see the O.M.G tech people. we made some L.E.D lights and we also made some electricity music with lots and lots of play dough we had so much fun and thank you to the O.M.G tech for letting us do these fun things with you guys hope to see you guys again next time.

My planet is called candy world and it is full with lots of exciting things that you could possibly make something similar to it. It is called the candy world because we have a lot of candy inside the houses. Outside there is 15 skating park that is coloured with candy and you could eat is nearly the whole entire candy world is filled with candy for people to eat and to have fun on candy world.

I was proud of myself getting past the finish line and I felt so happy because it was a really fun run and I got more fit doing that run. Whenever we do a big run we always get more fitter and we always feel like we want to run again that run was fun and cool.

about my rocket ship

At the bottom of the rocket ship there is a booster. The booster makes the powers of lightning come out and it also makes it launch into space. The colours of the rocket ship  are blue red orange and yellow. In the middle of the spaceship there is a glass so people can see where they are going in space. On the top of the spaceship there is a red shelter for so if you are in a rocket ship you really need to help you.

When i walk to the rocket ship there is a really cool lift holder.It can lift you up and drag you into the rocket ship.I also have a remote control. that you can move wherever you want.Once i have come into the rocket ship i use my remote to put on my astronaut suit. When i’m in the rocket ship the booster starts and then it starts counting up to 5 and then when it gets to 0 that’s when the rocket ship blasted of slow and then it goes faster and then it blasted off into space.

When I am in my rocket I always go to Jupiter.I Like to look outside the window and look at the asteroid floating around the solar system and I also like to float In space because it’s lots of fun. When I land on Jupiter i always like to look at everything in Jupiter because it’s my favourite planet In the solar system. I also like to see all of the rings on Saturn and other different planets that have rings. But I mostly like Jupiter it’s the best.

The next day tom got out of his room and went to tell his best friend that he thought that he should run away util he thought so he told he best friend the whole truth and didn't lie at anything that he done so then his best friend took him to the top of the castle two tell the king the truth so he didn't want to lie for ever so he had to and then he did.

when they gave the sowed to the king he knew who the person that had it last and it was tom he knew that he would get kicked out so he tried to go somewhere safe but then he thought that was a bad idea so he stayed in his room for 1 whole day.

stardome

Yesterday, all the Year 3s and Year 4s got on a bus to go to the Stardome. When we were in the bus all of the people that went in the bus to the Stardome show sang lots of different Samoan songs and a little bit of Maori songs.They also danced a little in the bus. We had so much fun in the bus and also at stardome we got to see some big things in the stardome.

At the Stardome, we learned some really cool things about our solar system.  We got to learn about different Planets in pluto and different planet this is not like pluto we had so much fun when we got to go in the stardome we got to see some things and watch some things.

When we weren’t in the Stardome, we were having fun outside. We got to play on the playground and on the big cool massive Firefox and the steering wheel my favorite part on the park was the Firefox because at the end of the Firefox it feels like you are falling down that is my favourite part of the Firefox.

After all this, we headed back to Point England School. When we were in the bus most of team 3 fell asleep in the bus and when we got to school w got really tired and we felt like going back home to have a really big sleep but a School we had a really big drink and we had a lot of energy to go back and have a lot of fun at School.

The amount of the moon that you can see from earth depends on how much it is lit up by the sun. This amount changes each day the phases of that depends on it position in relation to the sun and earth as the moon makes its way around the earth we see the bright parts of the moon surface at different angles these are called phase of the moon it takes 29 days for the moon to orbit the earth.

When every one woke up from out of there bed they went at the bottom of the castle to have some breakfast. When they all finished having breakfast they all had to go for a secret find out to try and find the golden sowed but they never knew what they had to do until they saw the golden and they went up in the top of the castle to try and find the captain  and give the sowed to him. When they got to the castle they saw the captain and gave the sowed to him.

When the slimy green frog opened up his big black eyes his straight away saw a little baby cricket floating on a big green leaf. So then he  outstretched his red big tongue and tried to stop the leaf because the little cricket was floating on the big green leaf and when he stopped the cricket and the green leaf so he can catch his prey and eat it.

when he woke up in the middle of the night he thought the when he got the sowed it was a bad idea so he went back out to where he got the sowed and throw it in the water and then when he looked be hide him there was a man flowing him but it wasn't any of his friends so he  went to the castle and went back to sleep.

The moon

Seasons are caused because of the Earth changing position with the sun. The Earth travels around the sun called an orbit one’s a year. As the Earth orbits around the sun the amount of sunlight each place on the planet gets every day changes slightly this change causes the seasons. We divide the year into four seasons spring summer autumn winter each season last three months with summer being the warmest season winter being the coldest and spring and autumn lying in between the season have a lot of impact on what happens on the Earth.

Netball is a sport that was played in the olden days, everyone enjoys playing this sport.In the olden days they use to call their team the basketball team and it was only for girls and no boys. In 1895 they changed the name basketball in to netball and they also changed some rules for this game. The netball team was also invented in the USA for people to play netball.

     when Tom got to the castle his team kept on talking well he goes off and tried to find the              golden sword and it is also an really old one that  has been buried under the bottom of the
     castle when he found it his team went off and looked for him around the whole entire castle.
     When his team went to go look for there was to people that saw his go to the top of the castle
      and tried to know what was going on so he looked behind him and saw those two people that
      followed him and so his stopped and throw away the sword and went. The end of the second       chapter.

this week we are learning about measuring things with our hands and ruler also centimetres. we are so excited that  we are learning things about measurement and centimetre and even other things in measurement.

A yoyo is an ancient toy that children enjoy playing with. They enjoy playing with the yoyo’s because they are one of the best yoyo’s that they have ever had.  They enjoy play cool tricks with their yoyo’s but they also enjoy having fun with their own cool yoyo. They are really cool toys to have over the weekend and also on school days.

When i went in a massive rocket ship I blasted off into space and out of earth .When i got there i saw  lots of different things in space and some of the planets in space were big and small but i also got to see some astronauts blasting off into space and the moon rising higher around earth . I even got to see  the sun and stars  also aliens and also other different aliens inside the rocket ship.As it got darker and darker the moon started to rise on earth and the sun exploded and it turns into stars.

Every time it is dark at night the moon starts to rise and the sun turns into  little sparkling stars every night. The next day i got to see the biggest planet in the hole of the solar system and it was jupiter and it was also my favourite planet in the hole solar system. I also got to see other people in space talking to the alien queen and other aliens in space. Space is a really fun place to go cause you can see other cool thing in space.

the wolfs came and the darkness spited apart. a really small boat picked up on the side of a cliff as the got of the boat the top of the cliff nearly fell down the 4 people that was left in the team they worked as a team and got past the  cliff the also battled each other like heroes the end of the first chapter.

Step 1

When We Went Into The Hall Mr J turned off the lights and it was pitch black. when we looked  up at the ceiling we saw the stars everywhere in the hall and we got to see lots of amazing stars. After all of the stars that we just looked at we got to see what the other groups were doing .

Step 2

The teachers in team 1 went into space and flew to the Moon and other different planets. When the first 2 people went the next 2 people went and they went to the sun and blasted of away from earth and to the sun. when there was only 2 people left in the coffee room  so then the went out of earth and went to another planet. and when there was no people at pt england school they taught about going back to school because all the teachers misted teaching there kids.  

Step 3

The team 2 teachers were singing a song about space and they also flew to space and then they sang a song.

Step 4

The teachers in team 3 talked about time season and also planets and when they all woke up at the right time they went to school and taught their kids about maths and reading also writing. And some of the teachers got to sing a song.

Step 5

The teachers in team 4 flew into space in a rocket ship and waited until there kids in there class told them where to go and what to do but something  wrong happened with all of the teachers in team 4.

Step 6

The teachers in team 5 went on stage and sang a song about tides and planets.

My Whanau

Kia Ora guys this picture that I have got is called Rangitoto Island. This is a volcano and is the youngest but the largest volcano of Auckland - New Zealand. This Volcanic volcano is in Hauraki Gulf close / Near Auckland. This volcano is in Mission Bay and could be seen in Auckland City even if you are driving near Mission Bay. Have you ever been to Rangitoto Island ?

Hi & Kia Ora my name is Precious and I am going to be telling you some really cool & cute facts about my baby brother. This is my baby brother holding most of our Easter eggs for this years 2017 easter.

1. He is really cute and funny at smiling & loves to sit in his walker as well as to sit inside his bouncer.
2. He likes to laugh at people who laughs at him for doing something like to look at my Mum funny.
3. He likes to get messy & laughs when he gets change and then he gets dirty & wet on that one day including today.
