Facts about The Niue Culture, And the Niue island
Niue Island/Culture:Facts: 1.The capital of Niue is called alofi,it is also the second smallest part of the island with the shortest population of people in it. 2. 90% of the population of the Niue culture/people live in New Zealand. 3.The currency (which is known as the money) is the New Zealand dollar. People that are famous in Niue: 4.John Pule.he is a famous artist in Niue and is well known around there because of his great artist. 5. Shimpal Lelisi. She is a New Zealand citizen but is naturally from Niue, she is famous in Niue because she is one of the top actors on a Samoan TV show. 6.Vela Manusaute. This man is popular for his writing and directing, he is a famous and well known guy for his talents in his career. Other Facts about Niue: 7. They have nice, good food over there which is, Coco Nut, Mango, and much more island food. 8. In Niue if someone were to drive you wouldn't have any traffic or traffic lights, because there are none there. 9. There are 14 in total, of villages in Niue. 10. immersion assembly:
On Monday the first day of school our school had our immersion assembly we had so many people doing acts and telling the children about what we were doing and what we were going to be learning about for term 4.Our theme for this term is, Art Alive.Team 1 told us about some special painters from the past and what they did to become who they are.Team 2 made each teacher out of shapes.Team 3 made a special art out of water guns but they had color in it.Team 4 showed us what they were going to do for there team on Google meets.Team 5 which is the last one showed us about special people from the past that made art even when they didn't get much compliments for there art,they still carried on and achieved more,that was amazing and it was my favorite one yet.
