Bar Graphs


Task Description:
This is our (online Math) work that I did for today/this week. I really enjoyed doing this and I hope you enjoy, Reading my Math solving problems.
We got to learn all about bar graphs and we even got to create our own type of bar graph which would be at the back of the slides up top, Enjoy.

    It is awesome to see you blogging your maths and I am really glad you enjoyed it. Its great to see that you can work out how many people were surveyed and how to read the graph! Next we are going to be working on making more conclusions about the graphs.

    The next thing that we will be discussing is the words/ phrases we use in stats. For example, lets take the first graph 'nicest fruit'. We can't say that blueberries are most peoples favourite fruit. Why not? because over a hundred people were surveyed and 40/100+ isn't most people. If 98 people voted for blueberries, 1 voted for grape and 1 for banana then we can make the statement "most people said blueberries were there fave fruit'. Instead, we can say thing like "the most popular answer was blueberries, closely followed by oranges.."
