 Intro: Good Morning team 5, Today I will be talking to you about how to be a good leader. 

Topic Sentence: One way to be a good leader is by respecting others based on who they are and not judging them based on their appearance.An example for being respectful is by listening (listening to people especially your elders, that will gain more respect to the other person) and another example for not judging others is just like not thinking negative things towards others based on what you’ve either heard about or what you see in them.

Leadership Week 4

Week Three - 3 day Reflection.

 Disclaimer - this is what I did on week three while the year 8's were at camp. 

On Wednesday at 5:00 me and my family head out to go up North it was very still dark and not that many cars or people were awake at the time because it was too early, the reason we went so early is because we wanted to meet up with our other family members and go together and we wanted to be there at a early time since it takes quite a while to get there.

On the first day of the holiday we went to go see my Papa up North while some of us went to go see him, the others were getting our camping site ready (setting up the camping tents and more..) it was a really long drive but through out the drive all the parents got to take breaks and there were a few stops we stopped at because the parents needed to take a break. The place we went to was so cool there was a beach just right in front of us which we got to go see, and hang out at all the time. 

We only stayed there for a about 2 days and then on the last day we went to my other Papa's house to go stay with him because the toilet that we used at the camping site started breaking and almost made a flood. It was a lot better at our Papa's house, we got to ride my Papa's motorcycle which was fun, I failed when I first starting riding the bike and while I was riding all my cousins were yelling at me, I almost got in trouble but I didn't luckily. 

When we were driving back It felt a lot quicker than when we were arriving. It was still a long drive but it was fine since I was the one not driving. When we got back most of us just went to sleep but I had to babysit.

Today we talked about our attitude.The main things we learnt is about how our personality is similar to other specific animals, for example: the four main animals that we choose were Otter : known as the entertainer, the other one is a Lion: the director, the person that leads the group, The third one is the Golden Retriever: an it's personality is known as the peace maker someone that gives good advice if there were a fight like telling them to leave, and it is someone that is kind and never disrespectful. The last one was a Beaver: meaning that it is someone who always wants to do perfect and make everything look good.All of these just basically mean that people have different personality's and is similar to these four specific animals. Introduction: What is a leader?

A leader is someone who steps up and shows you what a leader is and is also someone who is supportive to others.

Topic sentence:

One way to be a good leader is to be supportive in everything weather it’s a game you are playing and their not on your team or if someone is finding it hard to get some questions answered, you could boost there confident a lot more, and be more supportive.

Topic sentence:

Another way you could be a good leader is by earning their trust.Trust is one thing that is important in a persons life, people find it hard trusting other people.So try hanging out with them more and try doing more trust worthy things, that a leader would do.

The last one is by listening to the person, Listening to someone is very important as well.When people listen to others they learn more about them and they then know ways to help that person.Their are people who don’t like doing things,and there are some people that do.So it’s best to listen to the person and understand them.  

Conclusion: Remind the audience how to be a good leader - list the 3 ways: The three ways to be a good leader is not by becoming a good leader but becoming a better leader, and the three things to be a better, amazing, and good leader is by, Listening to the person, Putting your trust in the person, and being supportive.
