Things I loved in year 6

Dear blog Readers:

This is my last post of the year. This will be my post about 3 things about what I like/loved through out this year.

2. My second favorite thing that I got to do that I loved doing was looking
at the lovely view at Kawau island. Playing with my friends.


3. my third and final favourite thing that I really loved about being in year 6
was when we went camp that was my number one favorite one out of all of the
years the I have been in year 6

Activity 1: New Zealand Royalty

                                                                     Lorde’ is a New Zealand singer who rose to      fame in 2013 with the release song Royals. She currently has over 6 million followers on both Instagram and Facebook and close to 8 million followers on Twitter. Lorde has won many awards and influenced many people with her music and her original dance moves.

Lorde’s real name is Ella Yelich-O’Connor and she was born in Auckland, New Zealand in 1996. Her mother, Sonja Yelich, is Croatian and her father, Vic O’Connor, is Irish. Lorde’s parents encouraged her to read a lot as a child. They also encouraged her to follow her passion. Lorde started performing covers (other people’s songs) when she was at intermediate school and started writing her own original music as a young teen.

Activity 2: Exploring our roots

Taika Waititi is a New Zealand filmmaker, director, actor and comedian. He has produced and/or directed a number of popular films including “Boy,” “Hunt for the Wilderpeople” and “Thor: Ragnarok.” As a child, Taika Waititi lived in Raukokore (a small town on the East Coast of New Zealand). When he graduated from secondary school Taika moved to Wellington to study drama at Victoria University. Despite moving away from home, he has never forgotten his family or his roots (where he comes from).Speaking of roots, Taika comes from a culturally diverse family. His dad is Māori (Te Whānau-a-Apanui) and his mother is Russian-Jewish. I, on the otherhand, am Pākeha (New Zealand European). Most of my ancestors come from England. When I talk about who I am, and introduce myself to others, I sometimes use a pepeha.

Activity 3: Big friendly Giants

 Roald Dahl was a British writer, fighter pilot, spy, and inventor. He is best known as an author having written dozens of books, including Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, George’s Marvellous Medicine, the BFG (Big Friendly Giant), and Matilda. Many of his books, including the BFG, have been made into films. Have you seen any of them? In each of Roald Dahl’s books there are many unique characters, including adult villains (the evil, nasty characters) and good, kind-hearted children. There are also a number of unique words - words that Roald Dahl created all by himself. Here are some examples: Scrumdiddlyumptious, catasterous disastrophe, sizzle pan, bundongle, churgle, darksome, snozzcumber, frumpet, gollup, grunches, and mideous.

Rocky Shore

The Rocky Shore is a Intertidal habitat where you can go and see different types of species and much more that you can find all over New Zealand, and in other countries. A Supratidal zone is a part around the ocean and it is called cause Supratidal means a zone that is placed directly above the high tide mark. Did you know that the Supratidal zone is only coverd when rainy storms coming over and king tides. Some other times it can also get really moistened by the spray of breaking waves. A high tide zone is also one part from the ocean but different to the other zones. This region is only flooded during high tides. Organisims that you can find all around New Zealand, are anemones, barnecles, chitons, crabs, ispods, mussels, sea star, and sea snail’s. Subtidal zone is a part around the ocean where you can find many things and discover more things around the world. Subtidal is apart of a zone that is placed directly below the intertidal zone. It sit’s beneath te low tide mark. It is continuosly are permanently covered in water. This zone is much more stable then the intertidal zone and temperature and pressure remains more constant. This is what happens around the subtidal zone. The Rocky is a place where you can find different species from all around they and it is also a intertidal habitat. The Rocky shore has many different zones including, Subtidal zone, Intertidal zone, Splash zone, Supratidal zone. The Rocky shore is a place where you get to see heeps of things like, Kina, Mussel, Crabs, Sea turtles, and much more amzing thing that you would be able to see all around the Rocky shore.

Task 9 Team 4 Holiday Blogging

Task Description:
This is my own home made work that I made and I tried to turn it into a movie or something but It kind of didn't work but if you watch this then you would probably like this and if you do i hope you enjoy thime animated movie that I made and if you relly like it please comment on my post. Farting isn’t very polite. In fact, most people would agree that it’s just plain rude. Most people would also say that farting is disgusting and repulsive. Yet, everyone on earth does it. It’s no secret. Everybody farts! The thing is, you’re not supposed to do it in public or in company… that’s my problem. I have a gas leak. I have literally no control of my flatulence. The doctor says there’s nothing wrong with me, that there is no medical reason for me to uncontrollably fart all the time. I wish there was, then I could blame something, anything! Nobody wants to be friends with the kid that farts all day long.

WRITING:
It’s not all bad though. There’s one silver lining, one positive, and that is…

MY OWN PEASE OF WRITING THAT I FINISHED OF FROM THE FIRST ONE:

If somebody farts next to and they fell a little bit ashamed then you should go help them instead of making them fell any worser buy moking them in front of some. Espically if it is infront of a class cause that would be the most embarrising thing any could ever do is to fart in front of a class. I know it would probably be grose but still it is good to help people then just making them fell stink inside. So my sujestion is if something happen to your friend or someone help them out and make them feel happy inside.

Task Description:
These are some awesome Maori patterns that I made over the holidays and I really hope you really like it this is one of the most fun things that I made for the Holidays. I got to make these awesome and cool patterns at holiday program and we were going to paint them but then heaps of people were there so we had to use felts and the way that I made these is we use some clay and we got and tiki and another Maori one but I forgot it's name and we stuck it threw and then we just cut over it and then we let it dry for 2 days and then we got to color them in. My favorite one was the Maori head which is number 3 and that was my favorite. I hope you enjoyed my post.

* If you want to know how to draw one  of these I did it on paper and you can grab a paper and the just start writing TEAM but while you are writing it try and connect it together just the Writing and the draw a C and draw a squiggly line at the bottom and then draw a number with it and you can just add in some detail cause that would look pretty cool.

These are some Before and After photo which were pretty cool. These are all the things I did that made me want to clean up. I got my Chromebook and played some awesome and relaxing music that made me feel like I wanted to clean up. I kind of enjoy cleaning when music is playing I end up dancing a little bit but then I always remember to clean up after that. But this time I didn't I just sat down next to a bunch of clothes and then I started folding. The amount of time it took me from the start to the finish was? 39 minutes 33 seconds: which was the fastest I've ever cleaned up which was pretty impressive. If you think that you are one  of the kids who don't like cleaning and is to lazy but when your parents get back and your chores aren't done then this is what you follow these steps at the bottom to know what to do when it either comes to your working around your house. or just cleaning your room.

1. if you think that you have a device and you know or you have a feeling that you are going to play on it the stick some where, where you are't going to see while you are working.

2. if you can handle having your Chromebook around then you can play some relaxing music to make your self  more better at working then just playing fortnite all day.

3. try to have fun when your cleaning cause I only love cleaning when I am crying or when I don't get told to clean up so try and have fun while your cleaning but if you can't then just stick with the two ideas up top.

CHAPTER 2:
So the next chapter is about some group of teenagers talking in french so Amy couldn't understand. While they were talking they were washing their hand with clear water and weird soap that they have never felt before. Amy was a little embarrassed to see that she was the only one out of all her friend sand family to be hiding in an airport bathroom she felt a little weird but at the same time she was okay. At the same time that they were washing their hands they also primped and the pretty mirror. Amy just looked and they just laughed she felt a little weird to be in the bathroom and hiding all by herself. She was getting use to hiding in the bathroom after a few whiles later. She was scred, but she was okay and fine, and s little bit sad.  

Task description:
This story is all about a gril who was hiding in the bathroom toilets and this story s just getting started. So I hope you like my explimation about a awesome story that I have been writing about.

                                                         CHAPTER 1:
So the first line is about a girl called Amy Cahill's  and every time she heard a sound it would sound like rushing water that kept going threw her ears was what she kept on imaging. When ever she kept her eyes closed she imagined her standing in a wonder world,Tropical water fall. Unfortunately, she was hiding in an airport bathroom inside a stall, she tucked up her legs and balanced her backpack on her knees. Toilets quickly flushed, faucets ran,and also suitcases one the bottom of their wheels trailed feet in a massive big hurry. The airport in Sydney, Australia was a pretty busy place to go, to. But to them busy was good which sounded pretty weird. To me after it says Busy was good it says, Busy was cover. If you wanted to ditch surveillance. I didn't really get that part which was difficult for me to understand. But anyways we should carry on with the story, a bathroom could offer you a perfect opportunity. If you didn't mind crouching on a toilet for fifteen minutes. (Ditch Surveillance). Only weeks ago, that would have meant not letting her little brother, Dan, read her diary. now it was all too real. Too real for a fourteen-year old. Amy peeked over the stall. A tour group of teen-agers had entered the bathroom a few moments ago, and now they chattered in French as they washed their.

                                                         

Captain underpants and the preposterous plight of the purple potty people

                                             CHAPTER 1:
                                          George and Harold: 

So this first chapter is about 2 boys hovering over this machine and then they got transformed into some skeletons. so they were running and chasing after each and they just realize that they have been gone to long to let their mothers know so they had to find a way to get back home. Harold got angry at George because Harold didn't want to go but he also knew that his mother will be angry at him more then George. So George started walking and walking until he found the other side of the machine and then Harold found something for the machine and they just kept on going on and on with machine fixing until the found that the machine was all fixed. They were so happy well manly George. George was like the big brother in the family and Harold was the spoiled little boy. Well any,way they went inside and then they timed out the number from when they were left from and now they went back to when they were at school. So Harold was so sad but a bit happy and so was George.

Walt: Learning how to code. Task Description: Hi my name is Precious and this is my own scratch project that I made on scratch and so what I did was I went and tried to draw my animated projects and then after that I went and started doing my code.

Task Description:
This is my own animation that I made about location and direction. This animation is all about making someone go to one place to another and the way that I am doing it is a way that you know which is knowing which way is North East and which way is North West. It is also telling us which way is South East and which way is South West and this is how I can know which way this person that I animated is going to her classroom.  This is how I can locate the place that this animated person is going to. So that means I have to help this person know which way to go. This is my animation that I made for term 2 and it was pretty easy. I really like this animation and I really hope you like it too.
