Some people might enjoy logging when they are bored but I really don´t enjoy
logging. Think logging should be allowed in New Zealand cause thatś cutting
Mother natures trees and if I had a choice to cut mother natures trees I
Would disagree instead of agreeing cause that is just apporling and sad
So my answer for this activity is a no cause I don´t like cutting anything in
Motherś world. Thank you for reading my nature story hope you enjoyed.

Activity 2: Living on the Edge:

I Have Decided to write a letter to my Freind:
Dear Leylani and Leah

My awesome experience to Tundra was so so amazing I got to meet some animals that looked so
much like a fox and so many other animals the journey was amazing but my most favourite part of my
journey to Tundra was when me and my family went to go see the long white lake down the hill that
we were camping. The view was so awesome the lights were shining into my eyes and there were so
many lakes and hills we never go bord. I hope you guys world have fun when you huys go to Tundra
Enjoy your and have fun BY.

Activity 3: Going going gone:

Over the years, scientists have made some surprising discoveries. One of
these discoveries is that we have entire cities (e.g. Jakarta, Indonesia and
Venice, Italy) that are slowly sinking into the ocean. Scientists believe that, one day,
the cities will disappear completely under the water. Yikes!
Some of the residents (people living in the cities) have taken pictures of their
neighbourhoods and written stories about their lives in order to make a record of
what ‘life was like’ in their city before it disappeared.
Let’s imagine that New Zealand was going to sink to the bottom of the ocean next
week (Eek!). Before it sinks you are asked to write a blog post telling people what life
was like in New Zealand in 2018.
On your blog, post a description of life in New Zealand in 2018. Please remember that
the people who read your post will have never been to New Zealand or even seen a
picture so it is your job to ‘paint a picture’ of New Zealand using your words. You can
also post pictures, if you wish. Be sure to fully attribute the pictures.
New Zealand is a place where people from other countries and that don´t even know what a place like this called New Zealand is like. It is a wonderful world for people from other langues can come and enjoy this lovely world of peace hope you come cause you would really enjoy it.

                                                                       THE END

  1. Kia ora Precious,

Georgia here, from the Kaikohekohe (Northland) cluster! You will be seeing me and Dani floating around your cluster today, because you guys are so busy. It is awesome to see how much effort and enthusiasm you guys are putting into your blog posts, keep this up!

Well done on having a clear understanding of the negative effects logging has on our environment! It is really sad when you drive past huge forests and you see that a lot of it has been cut down, people are cutting down mother nature's trees. I believe it is awesome that you disagree with people cutting the trees down, you really know how to look after the environment!

I really like how you made your letter out to your friends, have they seen this yet? If not, you should tag them in this so they can see, or even send them a message and tell them to reply back in the comments! You have explained your journey to Tundra so well, especially when you explain the lights shining into your eyes. For a place that is SUPER cold, you explain it so well that I really want to visit!

How sad would it be if New Zealand sunk to the bottom of the ocean? Where would you go and live if that happened? I really like how you have told tourist to come and enjoy New Zealand! It is a great place, isn’t it? To be rewarded with the full marks, you will need to ‘paint a picture’ (explain what you see, what you feel and what you smell) for example I can see the beautiful Takapuna beach, north of Auckland CBD, It is so beautiful and you can smell the sea salt!

I am really looking forward to reading your new and improved blog for ‘Activity 3: going, going… gone’.

    Blog you later!
    Georgia E
